Born and brought up in Pune, Prasad was a sports enthusiast from his early childhood days. Prasad's inspiration was his father, who was a state level wrestler. Like most Indian children he too harbored the dream of becoming a cricketer one day.
Prasad was a lanky teenager and was always mocked by his friends. He took up this negative criticism as a challenge, and decided that he will be a body builder one day, and that too a famous one. Determined to succeed in his aim, he went to every possible person for guidance and emerged triumphant.
The journey from a lanky teenager to an award winning body builder was not an easy one. He began his journey by working at various gyms across Pune. He used to cycle his way to work. He got himself certified as a trainer to add to his knowledge base and to be able to help himself and his clients. He began to gather experience on the job and kept researching and reading on the side to expand his knowledge base. He started entering several competitions. Success did not come easy, but the teenager inside Prasad was not going to give up. He pushed himself harder to achieve the body he dreamt of.
